Welcome to the Chair of Applied Computer Science IV

The Chair for Applied Computer Science IV (Databases and Information Systems) investigates generic methods and architectures for modelling and implementing database and/or process oriented information systems.

Meta modeling, process management, Model Driven Software Development and knowledge management are in the center of our research. Medical and technical information systems as well as the integration of process oriented concepts into project, knowledge and quality management applications constitute the application oriented focal points.
